In fact, speed all around is nice.. being able to quickly move in between images. I still use feh as my image viewer because it lets me rapidly move around with the mousewheel. I'd love to have a GTK/GDK based application be able to mimic the quickness of feh.. hopefully that is what eog-ng will turn into.
