Is the “(users, eg)” really necessary? I’m a bit weary of the disdain that GNOME seems to have users.

@Patrick, we, by no means, wanted to give this impression. However, users have many channels to provide their feedback and wishes about the project future (mailing lists, bug reports, private emails, irc, forums, blogs, etc.) but the roadmap is definitely not the right place. I removed the “(users, eg)” to avoid wrong impressions. Thanks for your feeback. :-)

I fear that this might not cover new cross-module efforts or efforts that involve new modules.

For instance, I’d like to see more organization of the various gnome-is-people and tagging/metadata ideas. If I tried to push one of those, I wouldn’t want to get in your way.

I will probably get involved with the release notes a bit again. I was very disappointed with the result this time, though I’d left a clear how-to and schedule behind. My absence hasn’t caused the hoped-for new energy to appear.
